Design and execution of Deep Soil Mixing (DSM) columns and Jet Grouting works, soil improvement beneath the foundation, and enhancement of bearing capacity. The project involved the use of DSM columns in a grid arrangement for liquefaction control and Jet Grouting columns for bearing capacity improvement.
Key challenges included the execution of a large volume of columns within a short timeframe and the simultaneous application of both Jet Grouting and DSM methods for the first time.
