Method:
Design and supervision of excavation, stabilization, and support works using a Strut Support System.

Project Specifications:

• Excavation depth: 27 meters
• Site / wall area: 1,340 square meters

Key Challenges:

• Presence of an old four-story building adjacent to the excavation
• Large unsupported span without a central column
• Challenging geotechnical conditions, including clayey soil and the presence of an artesian groundwater aquifer
